Stretch was conceived in 2012, from a desire to connect the currents of yoga in Vancouver, bringing together the vast range of traditions and practices in a way that supports dialogue, creativity and growth. Stretch was founded by partner(d)s Boyd and Emmanuelle who decided to collaborate to offer the yoga they had been seeking to their own neighborhood and community, bringing together the teachers who are committed to their practice and dedicated to their students. At Stretch, we regard yoga as an empowering and transformative practice. We believe that yoga is more than asana and should be available to everyone, regardless of ability, body type and age. We admire and encourage endless pursuit of knowledge and believe that yoga can be a catalyst for community building and social change. By holding space for conversation and dialogue, we can examine together, in the context of present day yoga, how it can affect and empower each of us. Contact for schedule!
Ever wanted to move to San Francisco, live in an old victorian with a bunch of friends, drink green juice and come up with crazy ways to support yourself doing the things that you love? That’s how Wood Thumb started, and we continue to build our community around our passion for craft, inventing interesting products and making our wacky ideas come to life. We like to think of ourselves as entrepreneurial cowboys - we don’t follow any formulas, we take care of our own, and we occasionally forget to do our laundry. We like to get down and dirty with reclaimed redwood, old bourbon barrels, whiskey, tablesaws, bacon chocolate and those sorts of things. All of our products are made right here in our San Francisco warehouse/brewery/yoga studio. Take a look around and pick yourself up something nice. - wood thumb
Meaghan Zore After graduating from Indiana University School of Law in 2008, I opened my own practice, serving the corporate needs of startup companies and small businesses. In 2011, I began a two-year contract in Mountain View helping Google develop its in-house electronic discovery department. Now, I've returned to private practice in San Francisco. Over the years, I've served as in-house counsel for dozens of companies providing large firm services at a fraction of the cost. In addition to my solo practice, I developed the Advanced Civil Procedure: Electronic Discovery course at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, which I teach during the summer, and I am currently developing the school's new Information Privacy Law course, which will be offered online for Fall 2014. If you have questions about a new company or an existing business, please contact me. I help clients both locally and out-of-state choose the appropriate entity type for their business, protect their intellectual property, and engender consumer trust, while managing risk, through the implementation of defensible data protection practices. I'm certified as an information privacy professional (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Outside of work, my partner and I share our home with two rescued dogs and are avid supporters of Muttville Senior Dog Rescue. Boxing, yoga, and running through Golden Gate Park fill my free time. I also serve on the board of Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom and co-chair its membership committee.

We come together to enjoy the Practice of Yoga in its various expressions. Everyone is welcome: men and women, younger and older, more and less flexible, the people who wish to become stronger or are already strong and wish to learn new insights about Yoga - be it postures, breath or meditation techniques. Students have nicknamed our classes 'Happy yoga'. We truly submerge ourselves in the practice that improves every aspect of our lives. We clear our minds, work on concentration. The teacher offers lots of modifications for the practice to make it easier or more difficult for every participant. Everyone will feel comfortable from the very start! The practice is both easy for the beginners and challenging for the advanced students! We take the best what all the YOGA styles can offer creating a unique Yoga asana practice (including Anusara, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Vinyasayoga Krama & Kundalini), add a variety of inspiring & healing breathing (Pranayama) and meditation practices, a core (in Sanskrit: bandhas) strengthening portion that helps so much: our balance, our postures, our inversions and meditation so we can sit effortlessly. We finish the practice with a soothing Relaxation time. We practice Indoors and Outdoors. Weather permitting we practice Yoga outdoors on various Rooftop Terraces (off of 22nd, 25th or 28th str). The view is great & the breeze so soothing! If the class is in the evening we practice while watching the stars. The other Indoor Studio where we practice at is located at a peaceful residential house (on the corner of Sage Hollow Cir, off of Braker lane). You'll see a sign YOGA CLASSES on the lawn. There's bamboo flooring, plenty of yoga blankets & bolsters. The third location is at a State Building H on the corner of Braker & Metric. The main entrance faces Metric. Look for the building that reads Texas Juvenile Justice Department. Please see our Calendar for class timings. In addition to the weekly practices, we enjoy Potlucks and yoga parties, meet new friends and share ideas! More details at http://www.meetup.com/yoga-pilates Feel free to barter for the classes! Maybe you grow veggies, fruit, nuts, keep chicken who lay eggs or provide services. We always wish to hear from you. Please send us your thoughts, requests and ideas. See site for hours and schedule
