The original Butternut Street Biscotti Café had been opened since March 1998, following both D&G’s studies at the Culinary Institute of America, and employment at the five-star Four Seasons resort in Boston. The Camire’s passion for the industry, hard work, and team effort built their name and Biscotti Café became Syracuse’s top rated pastry shop in 1999. Unfortunately, the Butternut Street Café was closed after a devastating fire in November of 2002. For many months the Camires worked out of a temporary location until they purchased the old Zorellie paint store. After several long months of renovation, the Camires opened their new location at 741 North Salina Street. They were enthusiastic for the opening and especially couldn’t wait to see their regular customers from Butternut Street. Biscotti Café & Gelateria will remind travelers of the cafés and gelaterias in Italy. And for those nostalgic for the creamy, intense fruity taste of gelato, they will find it along with many other deliscious treats at Biscotti’s. We spend the time to hand make all of our menu items with quality ingredients and we always go out of our way to do things right. Our produce comes from local farms, our bread from a local bakery, and our coffee is organic, fairly traded and locally roasted. Most of our disposable items are either recyclable or biodegradable, and you will always find a recycling bin outside the truck. Julian Plyter and Kareem Hamady created Melt Bakery in the summer of 2010 by testing a simple idea they had for a sustainable ice cream sandwich company focused on locally sourced ingredients with seasonal flavor combinations. Over the past three years they have grown the business entirely on their own and in earlier summer of 2010 they opened New York's first ice cream sandwich store at 132 Orchard Street -- just a couple blocks away from the Hester Street Fair where it all started. Julian is an experienced pastry chef who has worked at Lever House restaurant, Lure Fishbar and prior to starting melt bakery he was the opening pasty chef at the Crosby Street Hotel. Kareem is an idea guy, trained in finance, who loves eating his way through the city.

Through the site www.odin.nl you can sign up to order. fruits and vegetables a package, the orders will be delivered in our store and you can pick up the package. Products are every Wednesday and Thursday delivered to you then Thursday morning, to offer. We also sell meat from our own farm. Our cows have a double function. They provide delicious milk and we sell the meat at the store. Obviously this dynamisch.Naast meat organic beef we also sell pork. The store has expanded its range with (business) products. Besides vegetables & own beef - and pork are also selling different kinds of organic bread. With delicious treats such as pastries and cakes. This bread is delivered fresh every day by a biodynamic bakery.

Although we can replicate designs we've done in the past, no two cakes are truly alike, and we are always striving to create something fresh and truly personalized, so we'll need you to give us as much insight to work with as possible. We do not have a price list for our cakes and cupcakes. Our cake prices vary depending on the size and complexity of the design. If you have an idea of the size of cake you're looking at, as well as a design concept, let us know and we'd be more than happy to give you a proper quotation.
