Dr. Atluri is working on a book elucidating the neurobiology of mental illness. Dr. Atluri specializes in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, which is also known as Insight-Oriented, Expressive, or Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. He is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and has been influenced by Humanistic, Existential, and Mindfulness-based psychotherapies.
